Known to most as “Q” or “Q-Love” Quentin Love was born and raised in Monmouth County, New Jersey. As a product of a single parent environment, raised in the projects of a rough Asbury Park New Jersey neighborhood, he quickly developed a survivor’s instinct, allowing him to overcome insurmountable odds. It was at an early age he discovered his gift of storytelling, winning several writing contest and competitions throughout the years.
In 2009 Quentin debuted his first novel Us vs. The Streets, a raw urban fiction, depicting a continuing issue young African American males face, growing up in urban America. Q’s writing style delivers powerful stories of substance, and paints perfect pictures, allowing his audience to connect with characters on an intimate level.
When he’s not writing, he’s spending time with his two daughters or shopping for sneakers and Polo by Ralph Lauren to add to both his massive collections.
